Chaplain Nielsen (born August 21, 1964) is a web developer and digital entrepreneur, accumulating over 25 years of experience in the digital universe. Being a renowned professional in computer science, he is above all a great scholar of digital marketing, video editing, operating systems, databases, software engineering, networks, programming, content management systems and other web systems, mobile devices and everything. more that involves technology, in the most diverse scientific areas.
He´s a south american evangelical christian evangelist. He is the eldest of four children born to Maria (1941–2016) and Francisco (1939–2009). He was blessed to be raised in a strong christian family and has attended, during his whole life, the Christian Congregation Church, whose purpose is to announce the love of God to humankind so that anyone can be saved by Grace through faith in Christ Jesus, whose work at the cross enables us to become children of God. His Pentecostal roots were deep and he was baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ and in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost on September 24, 1983 when he was about nineteen years old.
Ordained as a Minister of The Word in the same year, his voluntary work has been recognized in many countries. He believes that the only salary of a Minister of The Word is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Concerning his preaching, Paul said: (I Corinthians 9:16-17) “ For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel. For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. ” (I Thessalonians 2:9) “ For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God. ”
With a background in education and youth work, he has over three decades of experience in education programs in South America, Europe and in North America. For many years, he served as a teacher and in 2005, he joined the Hostexas staff, when he was serving the Lord in North America. Hostexas was founded in Texas in the year 2005 and its commitment is to teach 5 languages and supply 40 vocational courses with quality and efficiency by the lowest price in the market, creating future teachers, translators, computer technicians and encouraging young christians. Its creation was based on the voluntary christian work done by the missionaries of many churches in the United States, teaching the principles of the Holy Bible and american english, helping those citizens in many countries that don´t have the money to go to college.
Born into a very poor family, he was educated by american missionaries since his childhood, which gave him the opportunity to learn english, spanish and portuguese. In the year 1974, when at age 10 years, he started his professional career working at an Italian restaurant, where he could practice the italian language. His mother Maria was from European descent and was a cook, while his father Francisco was a security guard. Some years later, he moved to Europe. Working as a translator the whole day through, he took the opportunity to study french, ukrainian, greek and italian with native speakers, using this natural gift of tongues.
He´s a notorius evangelist in four languages and as a competent translator, he shows the following attributes: a very good knowledge of the language, written and spoken, from which he is translating (the source language); an excellent command of the language into which he is translating (the target language); familiarity with the subject matter of the text being translated; a profound understanding of the etymological and idiomatic correlates between the two languages, including sociolinguistic register when appropriate; and a finely tuned sense of when to metaphrase (translate literally) and when to paraphrase, so as to assure true rather than spurious equivalents between the source- and target-language texts.
